Imagine for a moment that you are sitting in a boat on the Sea of Galilee where Peter got out of the boat to walk to Jesus on the water or driving to the beautiful Mt. of Olives to behold the breathtaking panorama of the Jerusalem, the Holy City. Your visit will include walking to the Garden of Gethsemane with its ancient olive grove. You will enter Jerusalem through the Zion Gate, and walk to the holiest site in the whole Jewish world, the Western Wall (Wailing Wall) of Herod’s temple. Beyond the wall lies the 35-acre temple area purchased by King David (2 Samuel. 24:18-25). On this site now stands the El-Aksa Mosque, and the magnificent Dome of the Rock.
